Oil Cleansing Oil
Great as a makeup remover!
Like everything in nature, our skin craves balance. It produces its own oil called sebum, but indoor and outdoor weather, over-use of cosmetics or cleansers, poor diet or unknown allergies, or other factors can throw it off balance, causing it to dry out or look greasy. When skin dries out, the obvious choice is to moisturize, but when skin looks greasy, the common response is to increase washing and scrubbing. This can throw it more off-balance, creating greater sebum production, causing it to look greasy, and the cycle repeats.
Many people find success in using the oil cleansing method for their skin, instead of harsh cleansers. It is easy to do, takes just a few minutes, and the oils used can be completely natural.
